Please tell me about the subjects and books which i should use for the preparation of public comission service and is it possible to pass the examination in first attempt.

The syllabus is not same for all the PCS examination but the examination pattern is almost similar.

Examination is conducted in three stages. Three stages are :-

Preliminary.

Mains.

Interview.
