What is the dress code followed in government and private job?

What is the dress code followed in government and private job? Is it same or different? I am just looking for all the job opportunities now and wanted to be aware of this. It would be helpful if you can get back to me soon as possible. Thank you.

In government job no any special dress code is allotted. But in private sector formal dress code is available like- shirt of royal blue colour and pant of carbon black etc.
Every company may have different dress code. It is not same everywhere.

There is not any specific dress code in government sector jobs and also not in Private sector. But of the MNCs apply the dress code that must be formal dresses for men and women too.

There is no particular dress code fixed for the government and private jobs. The dress code either in government or private sector jobs depends on the profession. The officer level people or employees like software engineers need to attend the office in formal attire whereas the people who work in housekeeping and security need to come in uniform. Finally, it depends on the profession for which he/ she is working.
