Sir, i am a B.Sc. Gen. final year student. I want to appear for bsnl tta examination. Tell me what is required to become eligible for the BSNL TTA examination? Please reply me.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for BSNL TTA Examination:

The basic educational qualification and age criteria required for BSNL Telecom Technical Assistant post is given as follows.

>> Candidates must have completed 3 year Diploma in Engineering in any of the below mentioned disciplines.
* Electrical Engineering
* Telecommunications Engineering
* Electronics Engineering
* Radio Engineering
* Computer Engineering
* Information Technology
* Instrumentation Technology

>> And M.Sc in Electronics from a recognized university or institute.

The basic age criteria required is as follows..
* Minimum Age - 18 years
* Maximum Age - 27 years

TTA stands for Telecom Technical Assistant.

A Telecom Technical Assistant in BSNL has to keep maintenance in new areas of telecom technology.TTA in BSNL can be categorized into two categories

TTA (switching)

TTA (transmission)

Eligibility criteria for BSNL TTA:-

-The candidate should possess three years Engineering Diploma in any of the following discipline:

- Telecommunications Engineering
- Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Radio Engineering
- Computer Engineering
- Instruments Technology
- Information Technology.

-The candidate age should be in between 18 to 27 years.There is age relaxation for OBC candidate by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

BSNL TTA Exam Paper Pattern:-

There will be only one Paper of multiple choice objective type of three hours duration.

Part- I - General Ability Test - 20 marks

Part- II - Basic Engineering - 90 marks

Part- III - Specialization - 90 marks

Total number of Questions in the paper would be 200 and each question shall carry one mark.There will be negative marking for each wrong answer and 25% of mark of that question shall be deducted.

Selection Procedure:-

Written test,

Medical test.

B.Sc students are not eligible for BSNL TTA exam.

Those candidates who have completed diploma/B.Tech degree with below given specialization are eligible for BSNL TTA exam.

Electrical Engineering
Radio Engineering
Computer Engineering
Information Technology
Instruments Technology
Telecommunication Engineering
MSc (electronics) Electronics Engineering

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years.
