Sir, My height is 165 cm. I want to apply for the Deputy Superindent of Police post. So tell me what are the required physical standards for this?

Physical Standards for Deputy Superintendent of Police :

Height :
For male : 165 cms
For female : 160 cms
Relaxation of 5 cms is there for SC and ST candidates.

Chest :
For male : 84 and expansion of 5 cms
For female it is not applicable.

Eye Sight :
For male and female : 6/6 and 6/9 distant vision for good eye and 6/9 or 6/12 for worst eye.

Height criteria for Police post:-

Height (in CM)-167 (Male)

Height (in CM)-160 (Female)

Chest criteria:-

Male:-

78 cm with
expansion of 05 com
(78 cm-83 cm)

Female:-

76 cm with
expansion of 05 cm
(76 cm-81 cm)

Eye-sight criteria:-

Eye-sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

Physical Standards Required for Deputy Superintendent of Police Post:

The minimum height required for DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) post is "168cm". As far as my best knowledge is concerned, you are not eligible to apply for DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) post with 165 cms height. Here are the physical standards required for Deputy Superintendent of Police post.

>> Minimum Height - 168 cms (5 ft 6 in) {For Men}
>> Minimum Height - 155 cms (5 ft 1 in) {For Women}

>> Minimum Chest Requirement - 84 cm (33 in)
>> Chest Expansion - 5 cm (2 in)

I suggest you to apply for other cadre which are below DSP rank with the above mentioned height.
