What should I do after 12th to join CID?
sir i am a tenth passed student and i have opted for commerce in eleventh after completing 12th and finishing commerce graduation what should i do the next so as to join cid as i love cid very much and i have a dream aspiration to work in cid department and serve the country please help me if you can give me all the necessary information regarding cid

Eligibility criteria for CID officer :
1.You should complete the graduation to become a CID officer from the recognized University.And that to there is No requirement of Percentage for the CID Officer recruitment. 2.Age should be in between 21 to 30 years.And there is a Age relaxation for the various categorized students. 3.You must satisfy the Physical standards as well. The selection Process will be based in Written Examination,Physical Test and Interview. |

The CBI, CID and RAW recruit their officers through two modes.
1. Direct recruitment 2. Through SSC CGL For SSC : According to the notification released by the SSC for writing the CGL Examination there is no such fixed percentage criteria for the candidates. The candidate appearing in the SSC CGL, should be graduate under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least and should be of 21 years minimum at the time of application. |

CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.The exam is conducted by SSC and candidates are selected on the basis of CGL exam.
The criteria to join CID are as under:- - Candidate should be a citizen of India. - graduation in any stream from a recognized university or college.Final year appearing students can also apply for the exam. - The age limit for general category is 20 to 27 yrs ,for OBC 20 to 30 yrs and for SC/ST 20 to 32 yrs. - The selection process are:- * Written Test * Physical Test * Personal interview. |

The candidates who want to join CID(Criminal Investigation Departement) that is crime detection agency under the Government of India, must appear in the examination that is held ny UPSC.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed there HSC i.e 10+2 to join as a constable in CID. He/she should have cleared Graduation or Bachelor Degree in any stream from a recognized university. Also, there are many universities in India that offers Courses in "Criminology"after his/her 10+2. All officer level Post requires Graduation. Age Limits: Relaxation in age for reserved categories as per rule. *Age limit for General Category- 20 to 27 years. * Age limit for OBC Category- 20 to 30 years. * Age limit fo for SC/ST Category- 20 to 32years. Selection Procedure: 1. You should have Citizenship of India. 2. Writen Test. 3. Physical Test. 4.Personal Interview. Some Tips to join CID- You should be attuned to the Current happenings in the society. You should read newspaper and watch informative programes to improve your GK. |

To become a CID office:---
You are required to crack the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted every year by Staff Selection Commission. For this you must be graduate in any discipline. Your age must be with 18-27 years. You should be Indian national. |
