TGT and PGT stand for Trained Graduate Teacher and Post Graduate Teacher, respectively. They are teaching posts in schools in India, and these designations are used by various state and central government organizations such as KVS, NVS, DSSSB, etc.

TGTs are responsible for teaching students from classes 6th to 10th, while PGTs teach students from classes 11th to 12th. To become a TGT or PGT, one needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject (for TGT) and a Master's degree in the relevant subject (for PGT) with a minimum of 50% marks.

B.Ed. Degree: A candidate must have completed a two-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from a recognized university.

CTET/STET Qualification: A candidate must have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).

The scope of TGT and PGT jobs in India is vast, with many opportunities available in both government and private schools. To get a job as a TGT or PGT, one can apply for teaching vacancies advertised by government organizations such as KVS, NVS, DSSSB, etc., or private schools.

The procedure to become a TGT or PGT involves fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned above and then appearing for the selection process conducted by the organization. The selection process typically involves a written test, followed by an interview and a teaching demonstration.

To summarize, TGT and PGT are teaching posts in India, and one needs to fulfill the educational qualifications and other eligibility criteria to become eligible for these posts. The scope of these jobs is vast, and one can get a job by applying for vacancies advertised by government and private schools.
