Admission procedure to study BFSc(Fish Technology and Engineering) in Assam Agricultural University?


Respected Sir/Madam, I want to join Assam Agricultural University for studying BFSc(Fish Technology and Engineering). I want to know about the procedure of getting admission in this college for this course. Can somebody tell me about the admission procedure?

The admission procedure for BFSc(Fish Technology and Engineering) in Assam Agricultural University is as follows:

1. Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and English as subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in aggregate.

2. Entrance Exam: Candidates need to appear for the AAU Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the university. The test consists of 100 multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics and General Knowledge.

3. Application Process: Candidates can apply for the entrance exam online through the official website of the university. The application fee for the exam is Rs. 1100/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 550/- for SC/ST candidates.

4. Counseling: Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for counseling. The counseling process includes document verification, seat allotment and payment of fees.

5. Admission: After the counseling process, candidates need to report to the college for the final admission process. They need to submit all the required documents and pay the admission fee.

Note: The admission procedure may vary for NRI and foreign candidates.
