Can anyone of you tell me about the procedure of getting admission in UPES-Dehradun for studying BTech(Safety & Fire Engineering)? I am interested to study BTech(Safety & Fire Engineering) from this college. So I want to know about the admission procedure. Please tell me asap.

The admission procedure to study BTech in Safety and Amp Fire Engineering at UPES, Dehradun is:-

==> Candidate can take admission through 3 channels.

1. UPESEAT Rank (University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Engineering Aptitude Test). Out of the total 80%, seats are reserved for candidates who clear this exam.

2. Board Marks - Candidates who have scored minimum 60% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level can apply. The remaining 20% seats are reserved for Board Merits and JEE MAIN Score.

3. JEE MAIN Score - Candidates can take admission on the basis of the JEE MAIN score.

For BTech programmes, UPESEAT last date to apply for is 8th May 2019 and examination date is 13th May 2019 to 19th May 2019.

You can get admission through JEE Main or even through entrance exam conducted by UPES Dehradun itself. If you have a good score in JEE Main then chances will be good enough to get admission through counselling.

If you are not able to get admission through JEE Main then you can appear for the entrance exam conducted by the UPES and try to perform well in it.

You would need to apply for the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) examination through the website www.upes.ac.in.

After you apply for the examination, you will be allotted a rank on the basis of marks scored in entrance examination.

You have to attend the Counseling and the colleges as per your choice, if there are seats vacant in UPES-Dehradun then you will be given admission.
