Candidates who have completed Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to appear in bank examinations. Some bank examinations requires only the candidates who have completed Graduation degree or equivalent from a recognised university. But, some examinations requires the candidates who have completed Graduation degree or equivalent with an aggregate of 50% or 60% marks from a recognised university. If a particular percentage (50% or 60%) is specified in the examination notification, you are not eligible to appear in bank examination else, you are eligible to appear in bank examinations.

You are eligible for bank exams with 47.82 in Graduation. Because there is no such percentage criteria required for bank examination. The main eligibility criteria is " Candidates must have passed their GRADUATION or Bachelor's Degree from a recognized central or stage university ". So if you have passed Graduation from recognized university, then you no need to worry at all. You no need to pursue Graduation again to be eligible for Bank exams. For any post like Clerk, Management Trainee (Probationary Officers), Specialist officers, Assistants, the basic educational qualification required is Graduation. You can apply for IBPS RRBs (Regional Rural Banks), Clerical Cadre, PO's, SO's, State Bank of India Clerks, POs, and private sector banks with Graduation qualification.

You are no doubt eligible for bank test. All that you need is a degree certificate because a degree is the only qualification required not how much you scored in your graduation.
You don't need to repeat your graduation. It sounds like you are very interested in the banking field. There are 2 main exams held every year.
SBI and IBPS exams. Both conduct their exams for the selection of Probationary officers and clerks. In both cases you just need a degree to be eligible for the exam.

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any stream are eligible to apply for most of the bank exams, even if they have any percentage. So, you are eligible to apply for most of the bank exams. But, to apply for SBI bank exam, you should have minimum 60% of marks in your graduation. So, try to apply for bank exams like IBPS, to which there is no need to satisfy any percentage requirement.

Hello friend,

I have the solution for your problem it is.

1.The bank test eligibility criteria is as follows.

-->Candidate must have completed his/her graduation from the recognised university,
-->Candidate age must be above 21 years.

2.In the above mentioned conditions there is nothing about the percentage criteria in graduation.

3.So check whether your age is above 21 or not.

4.If you have the required age then you are eligible to apply for bank test

Hope this information is helpful to you..............

Have a nice day..............

For your kind information, there is no such provision of having fix percentage marks in graduation in aggregate manner to apply for any IBPS or SBI jobs because this provision was implemented when IBPS launched its PO vacancies in 2013 but due to huge opposition this provision was taken back by the committee because every single student do not have 60% marks in graduation that is why lots of candidates were not able to apply for these exams therefore this provision is not in run so you should not worry.

You can apply for IBPS CWE Clerk, Probationary Officer, RRBs - Officer Scale I and Office Assistants Exam then SBI and Associates clerk and PO examination on the basis of your current qualification and find a good job with nationalized banks in India.

You need to focus on your preparation because preparation matters everywhere and for that, you should go to any good coaching center and get guided by experts and professionals who are already successful in banking industry and also have some good books and online practice tests because exams are being conducted through online mode therefore you must be practiced through online mode to get good marks and qualify the examination.

I have listed some good books which will be useful in preparation :

Kiran Publication - 3 Practice Tests with previous years papers
Arihant Publication - Practice Guide
Disha Experts for IBPS CWE exams
Current Affairs by Success Mirror
English by SP Bakshi

Hello Dear friend

I think you can easily apply for the Bank exam with your current Graduation percentage.

There is no specified percentage for applying bank exam in many of the banks.so you can easily apply there.
But there are some reputed banks which demand graduation with minimum of 60 percent,so for that you are not eligible.
Your age must be greater than 21 years and must be less than the specifies by the bank.
So simply you have to prepare yourself for exam and best of luck.

Thank you.

The age of the candidates must be 20-28 for the Clerk and 21-30 for the PO .There is relaxation of 3 yrs and 5 yrs of age for OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively.
