Campus placement facility for BTech(Mechanical Engineering) students of IIT Madras?
Dear Sir, I want to get admission in IIT Madras for studying BTech(Mechanical Engineering) course. Can I know about the placement facility for such BTech students of this college? Please tell me about the campus placement facility.

Placement Statistics of IIT Madras 2019 :
In 2019, IIT Madras has witnessed 1300 students attending the placement drive and a total of 1015 job offers were extended from 246 companies that had registered for placements. The offers included 21 international offers and 136 PPOs. A few of the peak companies that visited the campus involve McKinsey & Company, ZS Associates, Flipkart, Citi Bank, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd., Tata Consultancy Services, and 51 start-ups. |

The recruiting companies are American express BCG Cisco Citi crop DE Shaw General electric Goldman Sachs The median salary is rs 13.6 lacs There are also students who have an annual package 1.33 crore |

Yes, Campus placement facility is available for BTech(Mechanical Engineering) students of IIT Madras.
The placement percentage is almost 100% at the college. Major companies visiting the campus are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The research and startup culture at the college is wonderful. Some famous startups example by college allumnis are Network18, Infomedia 18, etc.
