I want to do B.A.Eco(Honours) But I have a Query that I have five subject in 12th class which is Economics, English,Hindi,Pol-science,History can I do Eco Honours but I have not maths subject please tell me is it compulsory or not and how much percentage giving for this course for SC Category

No mathematics subject is not mandatory to apply for B.A in Economics Hons course. The Candidate who studied Economics subject 12th standard are eligible to apply for B.A Economics course. So, as per your qualification you're eligible to apply for B.A Economics Hons course.

B.A means (Bachelor of Arts). The duration of the course is for three years with six semester.

Eligibility Criteria:-

The candidates who have cleared 12th Board Examination (or) the appearing in this class exam or equivalent examination from a recognized Board are eligible to apply for this B.A Hons course.

The Candidate belong from General Category Must score minimum 50% percentage of marks and The candidate belong SC/ST and OBC category candidate must score minimum 45% percentage of marks.

However, Every Colleges/University fixed their own percentage of marks.

So, As per your educational qualification your definitely eligible to apply for B.A Economics Hons course.

No, Maths is not a compulsory subject for a candidate in 12th for Eco (Hons.)

The eligibility criteria for the same is as follows :

* The candidate must have completed his 12th from a recognized board.

* The candidate must have possessed at least 50% marks in the 12th.

* The candidate must have attained an age of 17 years at the time of admission.

If you fulfill the above said criteria then you can definitely go for Eco (Hons).
