Eligibility to appear in Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering 2020


Respected Sir/Madam, I am interested in appearing in the Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering. I want to study for a lateral BTech course. So, I would like to know about the eligibility criteria to appear in this entrance test of this year. Please tell me asap.

The eligibility to appear in Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering 2020 is a candidate must have passed BSc with a minimum score of 45% marks from a recognized university and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2. The candidates must have done 3 year diploma in Engineering/Technology from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or equivalent with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.

Haryana LEET 2020 Eligibility-

--Candidates have to score a minimum aggregate score of 45% and 42.75% marks for SC candidates of 3 years diploma in Engineering / technology from Haryana State Board of Technical Education or any equivalent board OR
B.Sc. degree from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate score of 45% and studied mathematics as a compulsory subject in the 10 + 2 level. .

•••••Those who have done 3 years Diploma in Engineering / technology from Haryana State Board of Technical Education for any equivalent word with at least 45% marks( 42.75% for SC candidates) are eligible.

OR

•••••Bachelor of Science degree from a recognised University with a minimum aggregate score of 45%(42.75 % for SC candidates) and studied mathematics as a compulsory subject in intermediate provided that these candidates must clear Engineering Graphics or engineering drawing subjects of Engineering 1st year simultaneously along with the second year subjects.

Eligibility to appear in Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering 2020:-

> Candidates applying must have secured minimum 45% in aggregate in diploma in Engineering/ technology of a duration of 3 years or more from HSTES or its equivalent. For candidates belonging to SC category, minimum score should be 42.75%.

> Candidates should have passed BSc degree from recognised University as defined by UGC, with minimum 45% marks, in case of SC category, 42.75% marks are required and past their 10 + 2 with mathematics as a subject.

The required eligibility to appear for the entrance examination is that candidate must have passed diploma from a recognised institution with minimum 45% aggregate or B.Sc degree with Mathematics at least upto std 12th.

There is relaxation of 5% for reserved category.

So, candidate with above qualification are eligible to appear for the examination conducted for admission in B.Tech /B.E through lateral entry.

The eligibility criteria for Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test is as below:

>>Candidate must have done diploma in engineering from a recognized institute of India with minimum of 45% marks.

For SC/ST candidates, it is 42.75% marks.

Candidates who have done three years bachelor's degree in science can also apply for LEET exam subject to minimum of 45% marks in bachelor's degree.

Due to COVID 19, Haryana LEET notification is delayed and expected to be released soon.

Eligibility to apply in Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test for Engineering 2020 are as mentioned below:-

Candidate must have done 3 years Diploma in Engineering/ Technology from a recognised Institute with at least 45% aggregate.

Candidate must have done B.Sc degree from a recognised University with at least 45% aggregate (42.75% aggregate for SC candidates) and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 level.

Note - Candidates whose annual family income is less than 6 Lakhs, can claim reservation under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.

Age limit is not specified to apply for this entrance test.
