Eligibility to apply for UCEED 2019?
Hello everyone, I want to apply for UCEED 2019. I am interested to study BDes so I am interested to apply but I don’t know the eligibility criteria. Can anyone of you kindly inform me about the eligibility criteria for applying in this entrance exam?

UCEED stands for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design. The exam is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay.
UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2019 : - Academic qualification - The candidates must have passed 10+2. Subjects in Qualifying Exam- Candidates who want to apply to all the three institutes, they must have Maths, Physics and Chemistry as their subjects in the qualifying exam. Candidates from other stream who do not have Physics, Maths and Chemistry in their Class XII can apply only to IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur. Year of passing the Qualifying Exam- The candidate should have passed class XII or the qualifying exam in 2018 or 2019. Candidates who appeared in class XII for the first time in 2017 or earlier will not be eligible to appear in the entrance exam. Number of attempts: A candidate can attempt the UCEED 2019 entrance exam is two times consecutively. The UCEED 2019 score will be valid for one year and for admissions to the corresponding academic year. Age Criteria- Candidates belonging to general and OBC-NCL category must be born on or after October 1, 1994. And the candidates who are from the reserved category such as SC, ST or PwD, must be born on or after October 1, 1989. |

Those who have passed class 12th with any stream, can apply for UCEED 2019. IIT Bombay conducts the entrance exam for admission in BDes course at various IITs.
The candidate should be born on or after 1 October, 1994. In case of reserved candidates (SC/ST/PWD) the date is increased to 1 October, 1989. |

Eligibility criteria for UCEED 2019
Nationality: Indian/Foreign and OCI/PIO card holders are eligible to apply. Age Limit: Candidate should born on or after October 1, 1994 (Open or OBC-NCL) and on or after October 1, 1989 (SC/ST/PwD category). Qualifying Exam: The applying candidate should pass the 10+2 or its equivalent from the recognized board in the year 2019. Stream: Candidates passed with any of the stream, i.e., Science, Commerce, or Arts & Humanities can apply. Appearing Candidates: Those studying in 2019 of qualifying exam are eligible to apply. Attempt Limit: Candidates can apply for maximum two consecutive years. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are NOT eligible to apply. Thank You |

Candidate should have passed 12th with any steam from recognised board in 2018 or 2019. 4. Final year student are also eligible to apply. |
