Hi, I am a student of 12th standard with Science stream. After completing my 12th with Science, I want to do BTech(Software Engineering). Can I know my eligibility to do BTech(Software Engineering) in Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute?

Eligibility to study B.Tech (Software Engineering) in Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute are as follows:-
Candidate must have completed their Higher Secondary Education (10+2) from a recognised board.
Candidate must have opted Mathematics and Science stream in 10+2.
Candidate must have scored at least 60% aggregate in 10+2 level.

If you have studied class 12th with PCM stream from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks then surely you will be eligible to apply for BTech Software Engineering degree course through various entrance exams like JEE Main or any state level engineering entrance exam.

You can get admission at your choice of college only on merit based on your rank in the entrance exam. Just make sure you perform excellently in the entrance exam so that you can get admission at your choice of college.

Bachelor of Technology in Software Engineering is an undergraduate Software Engineering course. The required eligibility to study BTech(Software Engineering) in Dr. MGR Educational and Research Institute is the candidate should have passed 12th class with science stream from a recognized board. The minimum percentage required in the 12th class to get admission in Bachelor of Technology in Software Engineering is 50%.
