Hello friends, I want to join BDes course after my 12th Science. I have taken PCM and applied for various entrance exam. But I don’t know for study BDes what entrance exam is for? I am studying 12th PCM from Odisha Board. So, can you tell me about the entrance exam?

You can appear for NID DAT, which is conducted for BDes and GDPD courses. BDes is only offered at NID Ahmedabad through DAT. You need to have class 12th in any stream to appear for it.

There is an upper age limit of 20 years for this entrance exam. Age relaxation can be availed, in case you belong to any reserved category.

BDS stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Candidates have to appear and qualify in NEET ( National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test ) for admission in the course.

The required eligibility to get admission in the course is that :-

Candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 12th in PCB.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in PCB. So, you are not eligible to appear in the examination to get admission in B.Des course as per your qualification.

B.Des refer to Bachelor of Designing and to seek admission in top college to pursue B.Des course, you can appear and qualify any of the following mentioned examinations :-

* NIFT ( National Institute of Fashion Technology ).

* UCEED ( Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design).

* NID ( National Institute of Design ) entrance examination.

* AIEED ( All India Entrance Examination for Design ).

* Pearl Academy entrance examination.
