Entrance exams to study BSc.Med.Tech(Operation Theatre) in PGIMER Chandigarh? Cutoff rank required to secure admission?


I want to join PGIMER Chandigarh for studying BSc.Med.Tech(Operation Theatre) course. Can I know about the entrance exams through which I can get admission? Kindly let me know about the cutoff rank for securing admission.

Cut off marks changes every year and it is dependent on your category as well. But the minimum eligibility to pursue BSc.Med.Tech(Operation Theatre) in PGIMER Chandigarh is given below:-

1. Candidate should have passed 12th class with minimum 50% marks from any recognized board.
2. The age of the student should be 18 or more.

The selection will be made strictly in order of merit of the candidates in the respective merit lists of entrance test.

The entrance examination available for admission to Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Operation Theatre) in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research(PGIMER)Chandigarh is conducted by Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research(PGIMER)Chandigarh itself.

You would need to attempt the examination and had to score a good rank followed by attending the counseling. The distribution of seats is completely on the basis of your rank and number of seats vacant at the time of your counseling.

The minimum educational qualification required to apply for admission to Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Operation Theatre) in Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research(PGIMER)Chandigarh is 10+2 passed in science stream with minimum 55% marks from a recognized board of India.

Candidates have to appear for the PGIMER Para Medical Entrance Examination for the admission to study BSc Med. Tech (Operation Theatre) course in the PGIMER, Chandigarh. Duration of the BSc Med. Tech (Operation Theatre) course in the PGIMER, Chandigarh is 3 years.

Yes, you are required to appear and qualify in the PGIMER Para Medical Entrance Examination in order to get admission for BSc Med. Tech (Operation Theatre) course at PGIMER, Chandigarh. The admission depends on the percentage of marks in the entrance test. It is mandatory the candidate must need to carry the hall ticket for verification during the exam.
