I belong to an SC category and I want to study BTech course after my 12th and that is why I am preparing for the JEE Main. I want to know that as I belong to the reserved category then what exemptions are available for me and for such candidates?

JEE Main 2021 reservation list :-

General Economically Weaker Sections (GEN-EWS) :- 10%

Scheduled Castes (SC) :- 15%

Scheduled Tribes (ST) :- 7.5%

Non Creamy Layer of Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) :- 27%

Persons with Disabilities :- 5% in each category

Exemptions available in JEE Main 2021 for reserved candidates can be seen below.

Each college has reserved seats for reserved category candidates.

Reserved category candidate can get seats with lower marks and general seats also with higher marks.

Reservation of around 45-50% seats in given to reserved category candidate.
