Difference between BSc and B.Tech course :-

- BSc is a three years course while B.Tech is a four years course.

- BSc is divided into three main papers while B.Tech consists of eight semester with many papers.

- BSC course is fairly simple and designed to provide an in depth knowledge of that particular subject in which the candidate is undertaking the graduation. On the other hand, B.Tech course is designed to lay importance to the application part of the knowledge and thus lays stress on practice rather than theory. Chief points of the course are heavy stress on the occupational placements along with practice based aspects.

BSc and BTech both differ in the following sense:-

BTech will delve deeper into the Technological aspect of Computer Science. Meaning you will get to know the architecture, designing, implementation of Computer Hardware and Software systems. BSc on the other hand will concentrate more on application knowledge.

BTech is a 4 year full time course and is well recognized. BSc on the other hand is 3 year course and is not considered to be at par with BTech.

BTech is more job oriented as compared to BSc.

To make a good career after BSc students take up master’s course, while that may not be required for BTech students.
