Those candidates who have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with above 40% marks are eligible for admission in Hotel Management course.

Your age should be below 22 years.

The minimum qualification required for admission in the Hotel Management course is Graduation degree.So,you have to complete your graduation first to become eligible for admission in this course .

The eligibility criteria required to get admission in Hotel Management course are as under :-

The candidate must have passed graduation degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized university to get admission in the Hotel Management course.

Most of the government recognized institutes makes selection of candidates for admission in this course on the basis of common entrance test.

Generally,the time duration for the test is two hours and is held generally around April every year.

The questions of the Entrance Test exams are asked from the subjects like

English,

Reasoning,

General Science and

General Knowledge.

The selection process involves of

Written Test ,

Group Discussion , and

Interview.

Private institutes also conduct tests of their own, the pattern of the entrance exam is almost the same.

Normally, you need 50% marks in aggregate to become eligible for any entrance exam like IHM JEE which is conducted every year for admission in IHMs across India. Therefore, if you have this much marks then don't worry and be prepared for the entrance exam.

Most of the colleges conduct their own entrance exam which are mostly private colleges for admission. You can apply for them too if you want admission in a private college. Getting admission is based on your performance in the entrance exam and interview.

Eligibility Criteria:

You should have completed intermediate with any discipline from a recognized school or equivalent qualification. You must have secured at least 60% marks for general candidates and 55% marks for reserved categories. Your age should have minimum 17 years of age.

There are no entrance examination for Hotel Management course but few reputed universities may conduct the entrance examination.

Candidates must be passed in 10+2 or equivalent examinations with 50% are eligible for admission to Bachelor Degree Hotel Management course after completing 12th standard Commerce stream. However, it may differ from college to college based on various factors such as College reputation etc.

-For bachelor's degree, a student must have passed Class 12th standard or equivalent qualification with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
