Hi everyone, I am a PCB student of 12th standard. I want to study BSc with Agriculture. I would like to know that is it possible for me to study BSc with this specialization? Kindly let me to know asap. Waiting for your response!

In order to pursue BSc in agriculture, a candidate must have completed 12th standard with either PCB or PCM from a recognised board.
The candidate has to appear in the entrance test conducted by the University where he or she wants to seek admission.
You can also appear in All India Agriculture Entrance Test(AIEEA).

Entrance exam: Conducted in the second week of May.

B.Sc Agriculture eligibility:

The minimum qualification required to apply for B.Sc in Agriculture is 10 + 2 with physics, chemistry and Biology or mathematics with an aggregate of 50%.

Admission criterion is an entrance test conducted by the institute.

You can also appear in UG All India Entrance Examination for Admission that will be held in the second week of May conducted by ICAR.

Possibility to study BSc Agriculture for 12th PCB student :-

PCB students can do BSc in agriculture. In
addition to PCM, Biology subject is a must to join for BSc agriculture. However, with PCM combination students are eligible to join for the degree in agricultural engineering.

The first thing I would like to let you know is that the minimum academic qualification required for pursuing B.Sc in Agriculture degree course is a Class 12th in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics /Biology/Agriculture as main subjects with at least 50% marks (or 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) from a recognised board of education.

So, being a student of Class 12th with PCB group, you are eligible to pursue B.Sc in Agriculture degree course.

The basic eligibility required to get admission in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course is the candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from a recognized board of education. Also, you should score at least 50 to 60% marks in your 12th class.

As per given your qualification, you are eligible to get admission in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture course. Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is an undergraduate Agriculture Science and Technology course.

In order to pursue BSc(Agriculture) course, you should have completed your 12th standard with PCB/M subjects from a recognized board.

As you are pursuing 12th standard with PCB subjects, so you are eligible to pursue BSc(Agriculture) course.
