Hi Sir, I want to apply for IMU-CET 2019. I am interested to study BTech in Marine Engineering so I am interested to apply but I don’t know the eligibility criteria. Can anyone of you kindly inform me about the eligibility criteria for applying in this entrance exam?

The required eligibility to apply for IMU-CET 2019 is given below.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

** The candidate should have passed 12th class with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board of education.

** The minimum percentage required in the 12th class is 60% and 50% in the English subject.

** The minimum age of the applicants should be 17 years and the upper age of the candidate should not be greater than 25 years as on August 1, 2019.

You must possesses the following eligibility to apply for IMU-CET 2019 for getting admission in BTech in Marine Engineering:

You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 60% marks & obtained 50% marks in English in class 10th/12th.
You should be minimum age of 17 years and maximum age of 25 years. Age will be considered as on 1st August 2019. There will be 5 years relaxation in maximum age limit for SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility criteria for IMU CET 2019 is:-

==> Candidate minimum age limit should be 17 years and maximum should be 25 years as on 1st August 2019.

==> Candidate must have cleared 12th class from a recognized board with 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and atleast 50% marks in English.

==> Candidates applying for Marine course need to produce a medical fitness certificate by doctors approved by Director General of Shipping.

==> Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner should be provided by the candidates applying for BTech in Marine Engineering.

==> Candidates applying for BTech in Marine Engineering course, eyesight distance vision (unaided 0.5 - 6/12) in each eye or 0.67(6/9) in the better eye and 0.33(6/18) in the other eye. Normal color vision shall be tested by Ishihara test chart.

You need to have class 12th with PCM stream from a recognized board. Just make sure you have got 60% marks in PCM and 50% in English. This is for B.Tech Marine Engineering through IMU CET.

You should have age between 17 and 25 years. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category candidate.

>> You must have passed 12th Class with minimum 60% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

>> And must have scored minimum 50% marks in English.

>> Minimum age required is 17 years and maximum age should not exceed 25 years and age criteria is considered as on 1st August, 2019. Of course, there will be an age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
