Re: What is the use of Graduation in English in banking sector?
The minimum qualification for a job in banking sector is a graduation in any discipline. The B.A in English is also considered for banking sector. They require only basic qualification after which they provide training to candidates. So they treat all the graduates in same way after selecting. Your knowledge in English will be useful in front office and other places where communication and interpersonal skills required. So your degree in English will be useful in banking sector. The job in banking sector is a prestigious one.

Re: What is the use of Graduation in English in banking sector?
If you are giving interview for banking sector then you will have to do work according to the banking sector and there is no relation to your qualification. It will be just an eligibility criteria for appearing in bank exams for job.
Hence, if you are looking for a job related to your English degree then becoming a teacher is a better option. Bank job about finance and clerical kind of job. It will not special jobs for English graduates. There are specialist officer jobs in banks for engineering and other professional graduates only. |

Re: What is the use of Graduation in English in banking sector?
Yes. Graduation degree is of course required in Banking Sector. Remember, the first and fore most important thing to join Banking Sector is "Eligibility Criteria". So in order to join Banking sector, you are required to meet the eligibility criteria first. This way, your Bachelor Degree is useful as part of the eligibility. Unless you do Graduation, you won't be eligible to appear in Banking related recruitments. Generally graduates can attain some maturity by the time they complete Graduation but not 12th Class or its equivalent qualified candidates. As far as my knowledge is concerned, this is the apt answer for the question which has been asked. Generally Graduation or Bachelor Degree in any discipline is required in order to be eligible for appearing in Banking related recruitments.
