Hello everyone, I have heard that JEE Main and Advance is an online exam? I want to apply for JEE Main and Advance but don't know about the pattern. Can you tell me is it online or not? Waiting for your response!

JEE Main Exam Pattern 2019:

JEE main 2019 was organised on 8th to 12th January that was for Jan session and will be conducted in April from 6th to 20th April 2019. The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at Limited to 3.

Paper one exam pattern:

Exam will be held through online mode.

This paper will contain questions from Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects.

It will contain total 90 objective type questions. Weightage to all subjects are given equal. Total 30 questions will be asked from each subject. Multiple choice questions will be asked and exam duration will be 3 hours. Each correct question will carry 4 marks.


JEE Main Paper 2 Exam Pattern:

The paper 2 will be conducted for admission to undergraduate architecture courses.

The mode of exam will be online. The drawing test for paper 2 will be conducted through offline mode.

JEE Main paper 2 will comprises of three parts which are Mathematics, aptitude test and drawing test.

This will consist total 50 questions for aptitude test questions for drawing test and 30 questions for mathematics.

Multiple choice questions will be asked for part 1 and part 2.

The duration of exam will be 3 hours.

Is objective type question will carry 4 marks for the character response and 2 drawing questions containing total 70 marks.

For each in correct response one fourth of the total marks allotted to that question will be deducted from the total scores.

JEE Main is conducted in online as well as offline mode but Advanced stage is conducted in only offline mode.

Till now there is no guidelines for Advanced stage to be conducted online.

JEE is conducted for admission in B.Tech/B.E or B.Arch course.

The examination is conducted in two stages. The two stages are :-

Main.

Advanced.

Only candidates who qualify in Main are eligible to appear for Advanced stage.

Main examination is conducted in online as well as offline mode while Advanced is conducted only in offline mode.

JEE is conducted in online as well as offline. It is conducted in two stages.

The candidates after qualifying in Main stage will become eligible to appear for Advanced stage.

Only Main stage is conducted in online mode as well as offline. So, candidate can select the mode according to their convenience, while Advanced stage is conducted only in offline mode.
