Whether my PH Certificate attached with JEE Mains OMR Sheet is accepted by authority or not? Should I wait for NIT counselling or get admission in private colleges?


I am physically handicapped person having certificate from government hospital but my college board section did not select my category in the application form hence i have mailed and posted my certificates to jee board and cbse board jee advanced accepted my certificates but jee mains does not accepted i have stapled the pwd certificates with my jee mains omr. I was much confused whether jee main have accepted my certificates or not. If it says yes ican wait till the mains counselling . If it says no i can try for different private universities . So now what can i do? To private universities or to nit?

For admission in IIT, you don't need to send PH certificate separately, there will a medical board for this purpose during counseling. Similarly for admission in NITs.
They dont accept your PH certificate and they will check your PH percentage during couseling only.

But noe that : If you have not marked your PH category in application form, then you will not be eligible under PH category and will be treated under general category.
