Can I know the admission criteria in ISI-Hyderabad for PhD(Statistics) course? I want to join ISI for PhD programme. Kindly tell me the admission criteria. Thank you!

For admission in ISI for Ph.D programme, first of all you must have a masters degree in maths or statistics with at least 55% marks. There is relaxation of 5% available for reserved category.

Admission is on merit based on academic record and performance in the interview stage. If possible try to qualify exams like NET/SET/GATE/JRF with a good score to make your chances brighter.

Those candidates who have completed M.Sc in Mathematics or Statistics from a recognized University with above 55% marks from a recognized University are eligible for Ph.D course in ISI Hyderabad.

Your age should be below 28 years.

ISI conducts their own entrance exam for Ph.D admission.
