Hello team, I am looking forward to secure admission in Pondicherry University for PhD in Environmental Engineering. I would like to know about the procedure for getting admission in this PhD program in this institute. Please let me know about the admission procedure asap.

Admission procedure to study PhD(Environmental Engineering) in Pondicherry University:-

Candidates who want to take admission PhD must have a P.G degree in Ph.D environmental engineering and its relevant discipline with at least 55% marks from a recognised University and must have passed the national level entrance examination or university level entrance examination. National level entrance exams like UGC NET/ UGC CSIR NET/ GATE/ SLET or University Entrance Exams consist of written tests and personal interviews.

National level entrance exams like UGC NET / UGC CSIR NET/ GATE/ SLET or University entrance exams consist of written tests and personal interviews.

The admission procedure to study PhD in Environmental Engineering at Pondicherry University is a candidate must have passed a master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination followed by an interview which is conducted by the university. The candidates who have qualified UGC/CSIR-JRF/NET or have a valid GATE score/MPhil in the concerned subjects are exempted from the written test.

Interested candidates can apply online through the university website www.pondiuni.edu.in. First of all, register yourself on the website and thereafter log in with the details. Fill out the application form with all the relevant details and upload all the relevant documents. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.
