Can i do Phd after my graduation in Llb...... I want tht LLM is necesary for Phd or not? Can you please let me know the criteria which is followed for the same? It will be really helpful if you can answer me back as soon as possible. Thank you!

After completion of LLB course, you can't do Ph.D course, but LLM holders are eligible for Ph.D course.

Those candidates who have completed masters from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria for Ph.D course.

Sorry, you are not eligible for PhD in Law after the completion of LLB course. The eligibility to study the course is a pass in LLM with 55% marks from a recognized university. There will be an entrance examination and interview for the admission to the course. The aspirant has to submit the research proposal along with the application form. The course is available in universities like;

• Amity University - Official website
• Gujarat National Law University - Official website

No, after completion of LLB, you are not eligible to do Ph.D, because, for
Ph.D, candidate should be Post graduate.
