If you haven't already take admission for the Bachelor of Commerce then you should take the 5 years long integrated LLB course. However if you have already completed 1 or 2 year of graduation then it is better to pursue LLB 3 years.

The advantage of integrated LLB course is that it already includes a bachelor degree. Therefore you don't have to go through the hussle of first completing graduation and then applying for the LLB. In addition it saves one year for the candidate.

Apart from that there is no other advantage. On merit both these courses hold same value. Therefore if you haven't taken admission for graduation, appear for the Common Law Admission Test. Clearing it would give you opportunity to apply for admission in some of the best law colleges in India.

CLAT Eligibility

1. 12th standard is required to be completed.

2. 12th should be passed with 45 percent or more marks.

3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks in 12th.

4. Age Limit is 20 to apply for CLAT.

5. SC/ST can apply till 22 years.

If you have already applied for graduation course then first complete it and then apply for the LLB.

LLB Eligibility

1. Qualification: A graduation degree.

2. Marks: 45 percent or more.

3. Marks: No less than 40 percent for SC/ST.

4. Age Limit: 30 is the limit to apply for LLB.

5. Relaxation: Upto 5 years for SC and ST.

If you are really interested to make Law as your career then you should opt for 5 years LL.B.(Bachelor of Law) also called as Integrated Law afyer 12th which will be a good choice.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board within the age of 20 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate, can apply for 5 years LL.B.
