Am I eligible for NET exam after scoring 52% marks in MA(English) as an SC candidate?
Hello Sir, I am a SC candidate who scored 52% in MA (English). Am I eligible for NET exam? Where can I get the syllabus of English which is code 30 and can I get the previous year solved question papers?

Candidates from reserved category gets 5% relaxation in marks and minimum educational qualification for PhD is post graduation with minimum of 55% marks. As you said that you are a SC candidate so definitely you are eligible for UGC NET exam. For syllabus and more information you can go to the official website of CBSE. for previous years question papers you can refer to this book:

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam. There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
