Amity University 2011 MBA
Amity University is most renounced and amongst the strong contributor in the development of management education in India. This builds higher difference between this institution and others. It has its name as a renowned and amongst the largest universities of this country. It has the recognition under the University Grants Commissions. It was begun its contribution under the Act of Uttar Pradesh by the state government. The most recognized and famous companies has given affiliation to this university and also make easier for its students get high placements with suitable packages. For making a big impact on the field of education it has started to spread its branches in different zones of India like Noida, Lucknow and Jaipur. For the admission of the aspiring students, it has its own criterion to undertake candidates for the MBA program.
Most of the candidates who have done best in their previous academic session are mainly making through to this university. Candidates can either take admission from scoring higher marks in MAT, CAT, GMAT or they can apply for the entrance exam which is organized by Amity University. There is a special selection processes like personal interview and group discussion which is only for those candidates who have finally shortlisted by the university.
Eligibility criteria:
The candidates who have completed their graduate degree with 50% and 60% marks in higher secondary exams from a renounced university are eligible for the above mentioned courses. The aspirants pursuing final years of their graduation can also eligible for this course.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for MBA programs of Amity University will be available through post by sending a request for the form along with a demand draft. Candidates can also apply online or download the form through the website: www.amity.edu.
Important Dates:
Last Date for submission of application: last week of May, 2011
Scholarships:
Candidates scoring 95 percentile and above in CAT and a score of 750 above in MAT will get a scholarship of 20% and the candidates scoring 90 percentile and above in CAT and a score of 700 above in MAT will get a scholarship of 20.
Selection process:
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT/MAT/GMAT scores or an entrance test conducted by Amity University. The shortlisted candidates are then called for further selection process consisting of a Personal Interview/Group Discussion after which the final selections are made.
