Is it beneficial to do PhD(Social Work) for MSW postgraduate?


Hi Sir, I want to do PhD(Social Work) course. As I have done Master of Social Work, so I think that this is a beneficial course for me. Am I right in this case? Should I do this course? Please suggest me!

Ph.D is mainly for those, who want to make a career in academics and research. If your aim is teach or research, then Ph.D is definitely a good option. Just make sure you pursue it from a good place.

Those who are already teaching in colleges or universities, have to go for Ph.D to have a career growth. Hence, take your decision on the basis of your career goal.
