Can I join PhD through CSIR Fellowship if qualified but cross 28 years of age?

Hi friends, I have qualified CSIR-NET which is valid till July of next year. But if I join in PhD in next year then my age will just cross 28 years. Could I join through this CSIR Fellowship?

If your CSIR NET score card is still alive then you are eligible for regular Ph.D course otherwise not.

But you can apply for Ph.D course in distance mode.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
