Am I able to appear in the CSIR NET on Earth Science if am doing PG Diploma in Remote Sensing & GIS & doing M.Phil in Environmental Management?
[I completed my masters in Rural Development & Management and Graduation in Economics]

The eligibility to appear in CSIR Earth Science NET is a candidate who has pursued an MSc/BS-MS/BS-4 years/BPharma or any similar degree in the subject of Earth Science from a recognized university. The minimum percentage required for CSIR NET is 55% marks in master's for the General category and for SC/ST category it is 50% marks. The maximum age limit to appear for the CSIR NET examination is 28 years.

Eligibility to appear in CSIR EARTH Science NET:-

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates must have pursued BS-MS/M.Sc./BS- 4 Years or any equivalent degree in Earth Sciences. For General and OBC Candidates - 55% Marks. For ST/SC/PWD Candidates - 50% Marks.

CSIR Earth science Eligibility

Those who have persued MSc /BS-MS /BS-4 year /B-pharma or any other equivalent degree in field of Earth science within the required qualifying criteria are eligible.

For the award of JRF NET , candidate will receive Fellowship either from CSIR or UGC as per their assignment or from schemes with which they may find an association.
