Eligibility to study PhD(Applied Mathematics) in South Asian University?


Hi, I am a student of MPhil with Applied Mathematics stream. After completing my MPhil with Applied Mathematics, I want to do PhD in Applied Mathematics. Can I know my eligibility to do PhD(Applied Mathematics) in South Asian University?

Name of the course - PhD in Applied Mathematics

Name of the college- South Asian University

>> Candidates must have completed Master's Degree in concerned or equivalent stream from a recognized university.

>> As you have done M.Phil in Applied Mathematics, I am very sure that you are certainly eligible to apply this course.

>> The minimum percentage required in qualifying Examination is 50% marks.

>> Selection process consists of Entrance Examination which is conducted in all the SAARC Countries followed by Interview. Please go through the below link for more details.

Eligibility:-

To study PhD Applied Mathematics in South Asian University is, candidates who have completed masters degree or equivalent with minimum 50%marks from a recognized university.

The entrance exam is conducted simultaneously throughout the SAARC.

Eligibility

3 year UG degree related to mathematics followed by a graduate degree like MSc Mathematics or a 4 year UG honours degree in the field which provides relevant quantitative training to the students such as maths, engineering, computer science, statistics, physics etc

Admission to PhD is through common entrance exam held in all SARRC countries followed by an interview.

Eligibility:-

Tech. degree in Mathematics / Computer Science with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade. After 12 years' of regular schooling, an integrated Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics / Computer Science provided that the total duration of education is of at least 5 years.

1. You should have completed graduation and post graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from any university.

2. You must have good academic record.

3. You must be an Indian citizen.

4. Admission to this course is based on the test that is conducted by the university itself.

Eligibility to study PhD(Applied Mathematics) in South Asian University?

The Ph. D. degree with emphasis in applied mathematics is intended to prepare a student for a variety of careers in industry, in government research laboratories, and in university research and teaching.

The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph. D Program shall normally be a two years Master's OR M. Phil Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent Grade in the Master's.

The PhD Applied Mathematics program is basically intended for students who tend to poses outstanding competition and mathematical modelling ability.
The duration of this course will be 3 to 5 years.
In order to be eligible for the course the experience must hold a master's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised college or university.
Admission to this course will be done either on the basis of the candidates performance in the entrance exam on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination.

--- PhD in Applied Mathematics involves research that uses various mathematical methods which are related to graph theory , stability theory, partial differential etc.
This program is an advanced degree specialised for the experience who is to pursue a career which involves Applied Mathematics research.

To be eligible to pursue this course students must hold a master's degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised college or university.

Admission will be done either on the basis of the candidates performance in the entrance exam or on the basis of their performance in the qualifying examination.
