Hello everyone, I want to do PhD(Fine Arts) from Tripura University. Can I know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission in this course in this university? Please tell me asap. Waiting for your response!

The candidate must have scored at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC or ST category) or equivalent CGPA in aggregate to get admission in the PhD program of Tripura University. In addition, candidates must have to undertake an entrance exam (Research Eligibility Test) to admission to Tripura University.

Eligibility to study PhD (fine arts ) in Tripura University:-

>Candidate must have a relevant PG degree with 55% aggregate marks Or equivalent CGPA of 7 from a recognised University.

>Candidate belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC can have a minimum of 50% marks in relevant PG or equivalent provided with the relaxation of 5% marks from a recognised University.

>Eligibility marks of 55% and relaxation is only applied for qualifying marks without including any grace marks

>Any professional degree recognised by UGC/ AICTE are also eligible.

In order to get admission , candidate must have completed Master degree in relevant subject with atleast 55% marks from a recognised university.

In addition, candidate must have to undertake an entrance exam (Research Eligibility Test) to admission to Tripura university.

If a candidate has given any National level entrance exam, then they are exempted from university level entrance exam.

Eligibility to study PhD(Fine Arts) in Tripura University?

1. You must have completed a Master's degree with a minimum of 60% from any university.

2. The duration of the course is three years.

3. You must have qualified the entrance test.

4. There is no age limit.

Eligibility to study Ph.D. (Fine Arts) in Tripura University?

The required minimum qualification for admission to a Ph. D Program shall normally be a two years Masters OR M. Phil Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained 55% marks or Equivalent Grade in the Master.
