Respected Sir, I am interested to study PhD(Genetics & Plant Breeding) from Indian Institute of Spices Research. I would like to know about the eligibility criteria for applying and studying this PhD course. Please tell me about the eligibility criteria asap.

The eligibility criteria to study PhD in Genetics & Planting at Indian Institute of Spices Research is given below.

==> Candidate must have done MPhil or equivalent from a recognized university.

==> Candidate needs to approach Human Resource Development (HRD) cell, ICAR-IISR, Kozhikode with relevant documents.

==> The selection would be done twice a year during April and September. Interested candidate can submit their application and will be invited for a presentation before HRD.

==> A copy of the thesis should be submitted to the institute.

=> Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics & Plant Breeding is a doctor-level course and the duration of Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics & Plant Breeding course is three years.

=> In order to get admission in this course, the candidate should have passed post graduation course in the respective field from a recognized university.

=> The final selection of the candidate will be done on the basis of entrance examination score and personal interview.
