Eligibility to study PhD(Psychology) in Ashoka University?


Hello everyone, I want to do a PhD(Psychology) from Ashoka University. Can I know about the eligibility criteria for getting admission in this course in this university? Please tell me asap. Waiting for your response!

Eligibility criteria required to pursue PhD in Psychology in Ashoka University:

The basic eligibility criteria required to study PhD in Psychology in Ashoka University is given below,

Name of the College - Ashoka University

Name of the course- PhD in Psychology

>> Candidates must have completed Masters Degree in Psychology or Neuroscience or Biology or Life Sciences or Mathematics or Social Sciences or Economics..etc.,

>> The minimum percentage required in qualifying Examination is 55% Mark's from a recognized university or institute.

Eligibility
The applicant must have done MA in Psychology with a specialisation or M.phil in psychology from a recognised university and should have scored minimum of 60% aggregate.

Candidates with UGC NET/ UGC CSIR NET/SLET/GATE are exempted from entrance exam.
They directly appear for interview round.

Candidates must have a master's Degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Biology, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Social Science, Political Science, Philosophy, Literature, Law, or allied disciplines.

To pursue PhD in Psychology in Ashoka University, the candidate should have done their master's degree in psychology with a specialisation or MPhil in psychology from recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and relaxation of 5% is provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates.

To study PhD Psychology in Ashoka University, if you have completed your masters degree in relevant field with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.


Duration of this course is 3 years.

The entrance exam to study PhD Psychology is UGC, GATE etc ....

The eligibility to study PhD Psychology at Ashoka University is, candidates must have a post graduate degree in a relevant stream with minimum 55%marks from a recognized university.

Candidates also have to appear in the entrance exam called GATE and UGC.

Interested candidates can apply online through the university website.

Eligibility to study PhD(Psychology) in Ashoka University:-

Masters degree or equivalent in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Biology, Life Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,Social Science, Political Science, Philosophy, Law or Allied disciplines.

All candidates need a minimum score of 55% in their respective degrees. M.phil/ M.Tech entrances are also encouraged to apply in the above disciplines.
