Hi Sir/Madam, I just want to know about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission in BITS Pilani for studying PhD program in Financial Studies. Kindly tell me about the entrance exam through which I can secure admission for this PhD program in this university.

Yes, an entrance examination is available to study PhD in Financial Studies at BITS Pilani. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance examination and interview conducted by BITS Pilani. A merit list will be uploaded by the university according to the marks secured in the qualifying examination and selected candidates must appear for the entrance test then qualified candidates will be called for an interview.

BITS Pilani PhD entrance test consists of two parts, that is part A and part B.

The candidates with an M.phil degree or having UGC / CSIR – DBT fellowships are exempted from the test.

Eligibility Criteria for Ph. D. Admission 1st Semester 2022-23 :

1) 60% or 6.0 CGPA or above in MBA or two year Management Program,
Or,
2) Candidates having M. Phil. (Social and Behavioral Sciences) & M.E/M. Tech. in Industrial Engineering Only,
Or.
3) Any Higher Degree of BITS Pilani.

Admission to PhD course will be based on the entrance examination and interview conducted by BITS Pilani.

Selected applicants must appear for the entrance examination.

Qualified candidates will be called for interview/viva.
