I want to study PhD in English at the DAV University. I would like to know which entrance exam is there for getting admission in this university for this PhD course? Kindly let me know about the cutoff rank for getting admission.

Yes, Entrance examination is available to study PhD in English at the DAV University. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in the PhD entrance test which is conducted by the university followed by an interview. The candidate who has qualified UGC NET/UGC CSIR(JRF)/SLET/GATE/Fellowship holders or MPhil degree are directly eligible for the admission and they need to appear only in the interview round. The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.

The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed Master's degree in the relevant field with a minimum score of 55% marks in aggregate for general category and for SC/ST category it is 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
