I want to do Ph.D part time in English.

I have completed MA English in Bharathiar university, Coimbatore and I have secured 70%..

I need UGC recognized university in tamil nadu to pursue my phd.......?

You are definitely eligible for Ph.D admission because you have got Master's Degree in English with 70% marks. The minimum percentage required for Ph.D admission is 55% marks in Master's Degree from a recognized University.

You can get admission through Ph.D entrance exam which is mainly conducted by the University. There are many Universities which offer part time Ph.D and you can surely apply for admission.

If you have qualified exams like NET/SLET then you can apply for Ph.D admission without appearing for Ph.D entrance exam. If you have got M.Phil qualification then also you can apply for Ph.D admission without any entrance exam.
