How many attempts are there for ugc net JRF under environmental science and also for lectureship?

There is no limit on the number of attempts .

According to CSIR UGC NET eligibility criteria , candidate applying for JRF should be 28 years and there is no age limit for lecturership .

Those applying for exam must be an Indian National.

There is no limit on the number of times one can appear in the UGC NET examination and therefore can appear in the same examination as many times as he/she wants to provided he/she holds the required educational qualification required for appearing in the same examination.

But, in case one is looking for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) through UGC NET then in that case applicant's age must not exceed 30 years (with the provision of upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per the government rules). Further, there is no upper age limit in the case of a lectureship position.

Name of the Examination- UGC NET

@ For JRF: There is no such number of attempts applicable. But there is an upper age limit of 30 years for General and OBC category Candidates. Hence, you can appear for the test as many times as you can until the age of 30. Of course there is an age relaxation for reserved category candidiates.

@ For Lectureship: There is no such number of attempts applicable. Also there is no upper age limit. Hence, you can apply for this as many times as you want.

I suggest you to clear off the exam as early as you can because there will be an ever changing competition among the candidates.

For the CSIR NET exam, there is no maximum limit on the number of attempts. In order to qualify for this exam, applicants must be at least 28 years old and meet the CSIR UGC NET standards.
