The seat availability to study PhD in Journalism and Mass Communication at the Central University of South Bihar is 13 seat intake. The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed MA/MSc in Mass Communication and Journalism or Advertising and Public Relations with a minimum score of 50% in aggregate from a recognized university. Admission selection is done on the basis of performance in the entrance test followed by an interview.

Duration of this course is 3 years. Entrance exam called UGC-NET. 7 seats are available.
