Is it necessary to know Hindi for working as PRT in KVS?

Sir/Madam,

I am native of Andhra Pradesh. I have not studied Maths etc at any stage.
I can speak and read hindi well, but i have never taught these subjects in Hindi. Is it necessary to have the ability of teaching in Hindi to work as PRT in Kendriya Vidyala.

kindly clarify it will help me to choose the correct direction.
