PhD in Psychology is possible after completing MSc in Oceanography?


I have persued MSc (oceanography) and B.ed from a mumbai university. Can I be able to do PhD in psychology?

The minimum eligibility required to pursue Ph.D in Psychology is that you must complete your postgraduate studies in psychology or a related field.

You can pursue Doctorate in Oceanography as you have all the eligibility.

No it's not possible.
For persuing PhD course, it's important for a candidate to have completed masters in related subject in which they want to do PhD .
Thus being an oceanography student , you can't persue PhD in Psycology.
For studying PhD in Psycology, you must have studied Psychology in your masters program as a core subject.
