Possibility to pursue PhD(Mathematics) for MCA student?
Hi everyone, currently I am doing MCA course. However, I have an interest to do PhD program in Mathematics. I just want to know that is it possible for me to do PhD program in Mathematics after completion of my MCA course?

Eligibility to pursue PhD Mathematics :
Master's degree in mathematics and related areas with minimum 55% marks for General and OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC / ST /PH candidates for an equivalent grade from a recognised university or an Institution of Higher Learning. Entrance test: CSIR UGC NET UGC NET NBHM |

The minimum eligibility required to pursue PhD in mathematics is that the candidate must have completed Master of science degree in mathematics or Physical Sciences, BTech candidate from any discipline can also apply.
MCA students are not eligible to pursue PhD in mathematics. Admission is done through entrance test and interview. Entrance test : CSIR UGC NET for JRF UGC NET for JRF |
