i am M.sc bioinformatics and now working as a project associate. sir i want to ask that is punjabi university having phd in bioinformatics and if yes whats the procedure to get entrance?? is there a entrance test or what? kindly provide me information regarding this.

Yes, Punjab university provides different type of courses. The eligibility required to get admission in Punjab university for Ph.D is the candidate should have done their masters degree or equivalent degree in related stream with minimum 50% from any recognised university.

The Punjab university conducts their own entrance exam for recruiting the candidates and also allow the candidates who have cleared other entrance exams like ICMR/ UGC/ CSIR/ GATE. If you clear this exams you can apply for Punjab university based on the merit list they'll give you admission.
