In India all are equal. then why reservation is needed.

here i feel that there should be no reservation based on caste, religion etc.Because it blocks the chances of some students who are capable to get into a college or job but not achieving it.
Getting into a college has nothing to do with the caste/religion.It purely depends upon his/her educational capabilities.But there are some poor people who are industrious ,talented but cant afford to study.So i personally feel reservation should be given to those students who are poor they may belong to any caste and they should get reservation in the sense they should get discount in the fees they are paying to colleges.
and thus government should ensure that education right should be followed eqally.

now,in india ,reservation is the thing used by politicians to win the election....

in many cases,reservation spoils the talented guys...

in todays world,there in no big difference lies between boys and girls...

then wat is the purpose behind reservation...

reservations should not be there as they make a talented person struggle a lot........yeah it's true more you struggle more you know.......but struggling while knowing you could be better is bull**** so just forget reservation and do on your best............then see the result............

Is ncc reservation there for sbi PO post??? i have my C certificate and also i have done REPUBLIC DAY CAMP this year(2011)... please let me know will this be helpfull to get a job.

In many institutions , we see their is some reservation for the children of their faculty or for any other backward classes which plays a very unfair role in case of a general student . In my thought , i think that everyone should be given equal chance . All should get seats according to their capability not by reservation system . By this a good student is unable to get a seat whereas a average student of reservation class get a seat which can damage the life of a good student .

I think Reservations should not be there according to the caste. I don't support the caste reservation in institutions and jobs field mostly govt. jobs. Reservation should be there according to financial conditions of the students.

The reservations are needed. Because for travelling is necessary.

there should not be any reservations even for girls ,with these reservations open category people are loosing their career very much..even anoc student gets a good rank in any competative exam ,he is not selected for it ..

personally i m against dis reservation system . but if it is to be applied for progree of india
den i think reservation shud be provided only to the needy ones....
government shud check properly dere financial status.. not on dere caste .

i am not supporting reservations now a days.because so many talented persons do not get a good job or good college seat.
so i do not support reservation.

It is true that reservations help in the upliftment of weaker sections, but many a times an eligible person gets unable to get opportunities which he deserves due to reservations.

hey buddy the poll shows that there must be ore general category students than SC and ST so stop blabbering about that they need more reservations this is UN fair to us who slog so hard but miss out on our dreams bcoz of these silly Reservations!!!!!!!!!

I am fully opposite minded about resarvation , in my opinion

Reservation should be there according to financial conditions of the students.
But not in study and job because in study and to getting ajob have need a good qualification but many intelligent brain becomes lost for low financial condition.

No, I don't want that there should be any reservations for any category, caste, gender, any of part of the communities because it creates differences on the basis of the reservations.

At present every citizen of the country wants reservations because they wants themselves in a better places than others.

Everybody wants that he/she should be dependent on others.

But because of the reservations many deserving persons don't get what they deserves.

hhhmm yup there shud not be any reservation system u know many deserving students dont get a chance because of this system.....reservation system shud be modified ....there shud be a creamy layer system in each category so that only financially weak students get opportunities to uplift themselves in this fast developing society.........

all the students should be given equal priority.

My Point view reservation is not necessary,all the indian are equal to the country,so reservation is not necessary.

reservation shd be der or not .....can't say....coz reservation in INDIA has already taken such a high place dat t has become an annoyance to many people ...women haven;t been given the reservation power to show suprymacy....bt to have a place of equality with the men.....bt if dey don't understand ...n misutilize it...dats non of the possible things dat can be done by da govt..

reservations should not be there in india ,since a number of students are not getting their exact seats of their intrest, moreover students with less skills and standards are getting jobs easily and this effects the country.

some needs reservation like when childrens parents can't afford money .reservation not be given on the basis of castes...some people are rich and make fun of reservations by getting addmissions.in that way education is in destructing way.......

according to my opinion there should be no reservation ,for example if you conduct an entrance exam and take admission on the basis of intellgence of a student then it fair on the other hand if you introduce some seats for resevation then what is the need for conducting exam? so i think in the field of education there should be no resevation on the basis of cast, beause in a classroom all students are equal no upper and lower class.

I am not against the reservation policy, but the system by which it applies in India i am against of it. It should not be no longer on the basis of the Casteism
it should be on the basis of poverty label .A poorer should get the reservation.

If people can get reservation by raising their voice then why should not us can change its application system in India.

Reservations must be necessary in some areas like schools, colleges, and some other problems. But in addition to that talent is also necessary to takeup the reservation. Reservation is not depends on only caste but also depends on needy and also poor people. That happens means that is the orginal reservation. That take the country into high level.

there should not be any reservation system in education and employment as people lack hard work and rely on reservation and as a result talented people suffer a lot. people should work hard and achieve their goal thus there will be true development of the nation also. financial aid must be given to those hard working students who are poor or belong to backward class to achieve quality education.

job reservations are a violation of right to equality or not

There should nt be any teservation in educational institutes. As a student I knw what problems I am facing just bcoz of this reservation. In colleges they give admissions to reservation student who score less than general sudent and the difference in fees is very much. A general student with 80% has to pay fees of 40000rs whereas a reserved student with 50% has to pay 370rs. Isnt this injustice? Not all general student can afford this.

if there is reservation how general people should not be suffered ?
if there is reservatiion how sc candidates lack behind the general candidates ?

i totally disagree with reservation system.instead of progress it is depleting the standard of education.admission on low scores reduces the quality of education system and of course on the other hand its a pure form of partiality with scholars of general category.the reservations should be cancelled as soon as possible.

i am not against the reservation system....i m just against its caste basis version.reservation should be on the basis of financial condition not on the basis of caste

reservations should be stopped and seat allotment for students of BPL catagory should be implemented...... India cant progress if resevations persist

i think that reservation should be there but not so much so that good students from the general category do not get the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. We must also remember that there are many students from lower backgrounds getting admitted to colleges without working as much as their general counterparts.

I am fully agree with you that there should be no reservation.Reservation does not watch quality.
