Re: Which is better MCom or MBA?
The course which you would like to choose entirely depends upon you. Because both the courses M.Com (Master of Commerce) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) are little different when compared to the subjects in the curriculum.
Hence, you are required to come to the conclusion of your interests and your graduation subjects. In Graduation if you have done subjects related to the Administration then MBA course would be the best one for you. Otherwise if you are from Commerce background like if you have studied B.Com or its related courses in Graduation then M.Com course would be the best option. So all that depends upon your course of study during Graduation and your interests. As far as career opportunities are concerned, both the courses have their own scope after completion of Master's Degree. The thing is you have to get good command over your educational based subjects in order to crack any recruitment further during selection. |

Re: Which is better MCom or MBA?
MBA and MCom have a very large common sector of employment. However, MBA graduates are preferred for managerial roles in corporations while MCom is a better course to find job opportunities in the areas of core finance and accounting.

If you are a working professional who has prior experience in the field of commerce or related subjects, then an mcom degree will help enhance your skills on the job. Else, opt for an MBA if you want to explore a wide range of specialisation or start your on business.

Re: Which is better MCom or MBA?
Both degrees offer a plethora of career opportunities for bright future.
MBA qualified a candidate to work in a managerial role in your chosen sector. It's the most in demand postgraduate degree as it provides in depth knowledge about how a business runs. Whereas MCom is the extension of course that you learn at BCom level. Most intricate concepts are taken care of in MCom degree. Both are recognised degrees , based on your interest, past experience and future career prospect , choose a degree that right fit for you. If you want to do CA, CFA or CS or any other professional course , then MCom is a better option else go for MBA. |
