Yes, you can study MTech (Ceramic Technology) course in Anna University being a BTech (Ceramic Engineering) graduate. Candidates who have passed BE or BTech in Ceramic Technology or Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering / Technology or Petrochemical Engineering / Technology or Metallurgy & Materials Engineering or Ceramic and Cement Technology or Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or MSc Physics / Applied Physics / Material Science / Chemistry / Applied Chemistry with at least 50% marks are eligible to study MTech (Ceramic Technology) in Anna University.

Yes, you can study M.Tech (Ceramic Technology) in Anna University, Chennai, if you have got B.Tech (Ceramic engineering) from AICTE approved institution or college.

Admission will be through GATE or through state level PG engineering entrance exam. Seats are allotted based on score in entrance exam through counselling.
