M.Phil in Library and Information Science is a 2 years post-graduation degree after completing masters in concerned discipline. There is an entrance exam conducted by the institute for the admission and then selected candidates will go through a personal interview round. Syllabus for this course is given below,
Sem1: Research Methodology and Digital Information Resources, related term paper, related seminar.
Sem2: Digital Library System / Information Management and knowledge organization, related term paper, related seminar.
Sem3: Dissertation.
